The program there will be held during school hours and on Saturdays will be open to the middle school aged youth who attend the local parish. During the presentation many of them presented unique ideas that they had to make their community a better place. Despite their age they have big dreams for the success they can achieve. Project Give was featured in a recent issue of the Palos Verdes Peninsula News. Thanks to Amy Higgins for helping us get the word out!

Also congratulations to Project Give’s Javier Rodriguez, who did a great interview despite being put on the spot with no notice! Love this quote:

“I love working with children and meeting new people. We’re educating children on their importance in the world,” he said. “We have a lot of kids who feel that they can’t do anything or feel that they really don’t have the power to make a difference in the world, to make things better. With Project GIVE, we give them the power and the trust; we want them to be creative — we empower them to help them realize the great impact they can have on the world.”
