From Ridgecrest to Haiti 0

The Ridgecrest Project Give students have started a new project for the month of February called “Hearts for Haiti”.  They have made boxes for monetary donations and they will be put in each classroom.  They also had bracelets donated that they will be selling all month during the lunch period.  They have made special valentine-grams that students can purchase and send to other students.  All proceeds from their sales will be donated to haiti and all funds they raise will be matched by a local corporation.  They kicked off the project on February 1st sending love to our friends in Haiti.

Bringing Hope to a Shelter 0

Regardless of the limit in funds, the Project Give kids in Markham Middle School brought hope and joy to a shelter in their community. They researched different places to help and found one that helped many families in need. Budgeting was key as the students shopped for enough gifts for everyone. A ceremony was held were the students sang Christmas carols and presented the gifts to the recipients. The experienced of bringing hope to those facing trials will forever shape the values and characters of the PG student in this project.

Gage Kids send school supplies to Iraq 0

The Project Give kids at Gage Middle School never tire in their efforts to make a difference in the world. Going back to school during their vacation, they prepared boxes filled with school supplies to send to children in Iraq. Also shipped were sweaters that were donated and over 30 pairs of shoes for boys and girls. Mrs. Alma Guzman and Ms. Kay Begich provided help in packing the goods. Ms. Begich showed our PG kids how to fill out the customs forms necessary to ship the boxes to the military base in Iraq where the materials will be distributed to local children.
