PG Kids at Gage provide holiday MIRACLE!!! 0

Realizing that many families would go through the holiday season with out many of the daily items that many of us take for granted, Gage Middles Schools’ Project Give kids developed a plan to make the season much brighter and full of hope for many families in the Huntington Park, CA area. The names of needy families were obtained through Gage’s parent center and the kids created packages filled with food, blankets and toiletries. The children in the Project Give class received a lot of advice from their teacher, Mrs. Alma Guzman, as to what are the most needful things that families need in their kitchens to provide the best possible meals. After doing research for the items, the PG kids went to the stores to find the best deals. Running around the aisles the children gained real world experience in finding the best deals and realizing that the biggest package isn’t necessarily the best deal. The experience and the joy brought to the families will never be forgotten by those who worked hard to make this event a reality.
